About My Clients

Do you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself? Are you trying to navigate anxiety, relationships, identity, or big life adjustments while your mind won’t seem to slow down? I get how heavy that can feel. It's like you’re constantly thinking or questioning and you're trying to hold it all together. You don’t have to figure it out alone. I offer a space that’s real, supportive, and helps you move beyond just getting by.

My Background and Approach

The tools I’ll offer are grounded in approaches I’ve used over years of working with people navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, and life adjustments. I draw from CBT, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care, tailoring each session to what you need in the moment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. We’ll collaborate and start with what feels most overwhelming right now and building practical ways to understand and shift thoughts, emotions, and patterns that feel stuck. My background includes a Master’s from Johns Hopkins University, and I’ve worked extensively with college students, neurodivergent children, and young adults navigating transitions and identity development. I’m especially attuned to how anxiety and overwhelm can show up differently depending on your brain and your lived experience, and I aim to make therapy feel clear, supportive, and usable in real life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people are always capable of growth and healing, no matter where they start or what they’ve been through. I see anxiety, depression, and feeling stuck as valid responses to lived experience and environment. With support, new ways of thinking and coping can be learned. My work is grounded in respect for each person’s identity and lived experience. As an Asian American woman and child of Vietnamese immigrants, I understand how culture, family expectations, and identity can shape mental health. I am a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ affirming care, racial equity, and creating spaces where people feel seen, safe, and accepted. I hold a commitment to being an ally to Black and Latinx communities and providing culturally responsive care. Outside of therapy, I’m drawn to creativity and expression through makeup and fashion, which influences how I think about identity and authenticity. I believe healing is not just about reducing distress, but about helping people feel more connected,
