My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Certified Life Coach, I hold a master's degree in sports psychology from Argosy University and am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Counseling at Barry University, specializing in Marital, Couple, and Family Counseling/Therapy. This diverse educational background provides a robust foundation for understanding complex psychological and relational dynamics, enabling me to support clients effectively through various life challenges. My extensive experience in private practice has honed my ability to empathetically guide individuals, couples, and families. I focus on treating anxiety, depression, and trauma with an integrative approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
