My Background and Approach
As a dual licensed therapist with a background in psychology, substance abuse, childhood trauma, and clinical social work to include but not limited to human development, emotional disturbances, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivation enhancement, trauma informed care, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of mental health disorders and addiction, I am dedicated and committed to enhancing the emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing of my clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I've learned is that the majority of challenges we face are not external (people, places and things), rather they are internal (our thoughts, perceptions and self-concept). Therefore, we respond to stressors accordingly with the coping skills that we possess at the time. Does that make you a bad person? Absolutely not. Rather it sheds light on the areas within you that need attention, healing and wholeness.
