For me, therapy is a sacred healing journey; and as a therapist, I treasure being able to walk alongside you on your homecoming back to your highest and best self! Thus, I will forever strive to intentionally cultivate and maintain a safe healing space for my clients by approaching our talk therapy with a person-centered, trauma-informed, relational-cultural, and social justice approach first! I also strive to embody an existential and narrative approach in sessions because as your therapist, I act in a role that aids in a self-reflective process like a mirror. Through this process, I support you in discerning what's your true reflection from a projection from others; as well as identifying the smoke-and-mirror effect societal stigma has casted upon all of us!

As a therapist, it is integral for me to show up authentically in the room. I believe that therapy cannot be as potent and powerful when there is masking of ourselves in the room. Thus, I like to make it known to clients that the therapist in front of them is someone who is first their community member. Meaning, I am no expert of your life and you have the highest authority over your own truth. I am not an ascended guru. I am a human who is on their own healing journey alongside you. I can only offer you the embodied wisdom I’ve gained from my elders, education, and lived experiences I have gained along my own healing journey. I am neurodivergent, a witch, kink positive, I cuss a lot, I am unapologetically Black, and I absolutely center my life and survival around pleasure. Although I am cisgender and straight, I would not be the powerful Black femme and therapist I am without my Black and Brown Queer siblings. Thus, my approach to healing is centered in Queer theory!
