For me, therapy is a sacred healing journey; and as a therapist, I treasure being able to walk alongside you on your homecoming back to your highest and best self! Thus, I will forever strive to intentionally cultivate and maintain a safe healing space for my clients by approaching each session with a Person-centered, Trauma-informed, and Social Justice approach, first! I also strive to embody an Existential and Narrative approach in sessions because I believe that as your therapist I am a mirror that reflects back to you the smoke-and-mirror effect societal stigma has casted upon all of us! I also strive to become a therapeutic mirror that reflects back to you your authentic self which includes both your light as well as your shadow! This reflection process is essential in therapy because light does not always mean good, and dark does not always mean evil! One can see colors in the dark, and too much sugar can give you diabetes!

My passion for mental health stems from my journey as a social justice advocate! I wholeheartedly believe that as sacred healers/therapists, it is essential that we make social justice the foundation of our work because systemic oppression is either the source of our client’s trauma or, at the least, makes their trauma more complex! It is equally important for me to emphasize how our therapeutic relationship is one of the most valuable components of therapy! It is not easy to be as vulnerable as one is in therapy; thus, my role as a therapist is a role that I take incredibly seriously and honor IMMENSELY!
