About My Clients

I have a special passion for working with young adults navigating life transitions, relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, and the challenges of adulthood. I also enjoy working with couples seeking to improve communication, strengthen connection, and navigate conflict. While these are areas of focus, I welcome individuals and couples from all backgrounds and life experiences. My goal is to provide a supportive, inclusive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My Background and Approach

I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Licensed Social Worker (LSW) therapist with experience providing individual, family, and couples therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. My clinical background includes working in community mental health, private practice, and school-based settings, supporting clients through a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem challenges, grief, behavioral concerns, substance use, and life transitions. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I believe that therapy works best when clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. I draw from evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, MI, SFBT, Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. This allows me to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs, goals, and strengths rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change, regardless of where they are starting from. Life can be messy, painful, and unpredictable, but I believe our struggles do not define us. Instead, they can become opportunities for greater self-awareness, resilience, and connection. I value authenticity, compassion, and human connection. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe to be yourself without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My role is not to tell you who to be or how to live your life, but to support you in discovering what feels most aligned with your values, goals, and sense of self. I believe that healing happens through a combination of self-understanding, self-compassion, and action. While we cannot always change what has happened to us, we can learn new ways to respond, cope, and move forward.
