About My Clients
I specialize in helping those who have experienced trauma, dissociation, difficult/unsafe relationships, grief/loss, mood struggles, low self-esteem, and identity concerns. My role is to help you tap into your resilience, build motivation, and feel empowered to make the changes that matter most to you. Together, we’ll identify the stressful areas of your life and clarify what healing and growth look like for you. My goal is to provide therapy that is not only effective but deeply personal.
My Background and Approach
I've worked in many different settings—community clinics, hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and private practice. My practice is grounded in culturally-affirming, anti-oppressive, and inclusive care—welcoming and honoring all identities. Using a humanistic lens, I take the time to understand you—your identities, your story, and the systems that shape your experience. I blend a variety of evidence-based practices tailored to your needs (trauma-focused therapy, relational work, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, art, and somatic interventions). My therapeutic approach is grounded in a three-phase model of recovery—focusing first on safety, then on processing and making meaning of past experiences, and finally creating the life you want to live. Our work together will be dynamic and responsive to your needs, moving through each phase as healing unfolds at your own pace.
