I aim to empower my clients with tools and skills to help them resolve life's challenges and to provide ways to cultivate the life that they desire. I am motivated to create an environment where people feel safe and comfortable sharing their problems and can work through life's challenges. I am committed to creating a nonjudgmental, supportive environment for my clients to discuss issues.
My Background and Approach
I utilize an integrative approach to therapy that includes aspects of Behaviorism, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Behavioral Activation. My ethical orientation is to collaborate and empower you to advocate for a better understanding of who you are and who you want to be. In simpler words, I tend to get to know you and work with you to find ways that fit your personality and needs. I then utilize tools, skill building, and thought processing to help you find positive decisions that work for you. These things are important in providing a safe space for growth and a peaceful existence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has a time in their life when they are dealing with undesirable change, unhealthy habits, or unwanted thoughts that no longer serve their purpose. I consider learning new ways to cope, adjusting to new circumstances, or confronting old problems is an excellent way to provide a positive future for one's self.
