My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that positive beliefs about oneself and the world can improve mental health outcomes. This includes beliefs that foster self-esteem, self-efficacy, resilience, optimism, and a sense of purpose, which are all linked with lowering rates of depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. Believing in one’s ability to overcome challenges can fuel resilience.
