About My Clients
My typical client is a deep feeler and critical thinker—often queer, neurodivergent, or polyamorous—navigating trauma, identity, or big life transitions. They’re seeking a space that feels safe, affirming, and collaborative, where their full self is welcomed without judgment. Many are healing from systems that have failed them, and are ready to explore new ways of relating, feeling, and existing. Together, we focus on building insight, self-trust, and sustainable emotional care.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, clinical supervisor, and educator with a background in working with trauma, dissociation, and systems of oppression. My practice centers queer, neurodivergent, polyamorous, and kink-affirming clients, and is rooted in a decolonial, anti-pathologizing approach. I believe therapy should be collaborative, consent-based, and grounded in your lived experience—not shaped by outdated norms or diagnostic checklists. I’ve been in the field for over a decade, and I’ve done everything from crisis response and community mental health to training therapists in affirming, justice-centered care. I approach healing as nonlinear and deeply relational. I bring humor, honesty, and a whole lot of softness into the room. I’m not here to “fix” you—I’m here to witness, support, and walk with you as you unlearn, reimagine, and rebuild. My work is body-aware, culturally responsive, and always evolving. Therapy with me is a space where all parts of you are welcome
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is political, relational, and deeply personal. I don’t separate mental health from the systems we live in—racism, ableism, fatphobia, capitalism, and colonialism all impact our well-being. I believe in care that is de-pathologizing, consent-driven, and rooted in liberation, not conformity. I trust my clients as the experts of their own experience, and I see therapy as a space to reconnect with yourself, your people, and your power. I believe that rest is resistance, softness is strength, and community is medicine. I believe in showing up with curiosity, compassion, and the courage to name hard things. I don’t expect perfection—just presence. I believe your wholeness isn’t something you have to earn. You already deserve care. You already belong. My job is to help you remember that.
