About My Clients
I am accepting new clients. Is your past trauma holding you back from living the life you want? I am a trauma-informed therapist who can work with you on lessening your symptoms. I work with individuals and families (ages thirteen and up). Are you feeling on edge and tense often, not sleeping well, or feeling so anxious that you're having panic attacks? Sometimes, people with trauma feel "numb" with their emotions. I can work with you to strengthen your coping skills.
My Background and Approach
I have a bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and graduated in 2017. I obtained my Master's in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University and graduated in July 2019. At OLLU, the focus was on Hispanic studies and counseling. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My values as a Mental Health Practitioner are that I am very compassionate about what I do. I have a lot of empathy for others. You're the expert in your life, and I will work with you, challenge you in certain areas, and identify unhealthy patterns in your life. I will work with you in a nonjudgmental form, which can help you grow. We will work on strengthening coping skills and working on therapy techniques that can help manage anxiety, depression, and trauma.
