About My Clients
My clients are sex workers and parents, queer folx with elaborate polycules and mono cishet families struggling with religious reconversion. Kinky people struggling with the stress of isolation and social pressure or couples opening up for the first time. Issues of gender, orientation, sexuality, relationship style or religious trauma are my passion.
My Background and Approach
I’ve spent much of my time in mental health working with people in extreme crisis at psychiatric hospitals and suicide hotlines. My passion and my focus has always been on relationship minorities, people navigating queer, non-monogamous or kinky couplings or moreings without cultural support. Each week I do an hour and a half educational program on struggling with religious shame and guilt.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Having grown up in a church and deep in conservative Christian culture as a member of the queer community I know first hand the waste and abuse that can keep our lives from being full of life and love. As a counselor and educator I work in many ways to heal, support and defend as many people as I can from ignorance and bigotry, whether it takes the form of an abusive aggressor or the every day struggles of living in a world not built with you in mind. By working together, we can make a healthier, happier world for you and for others.
