My Background and Approach
I understand that no two people are the same. This means that therapy approaches need to be tailored to fit my client. I use the eclectic approach which allows me to utilize techniques from various therapy models to ensure my client’s needs are met. By incorporating both mind-body techniques, the whole person is able to heal and grow from their experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My philosophy centers on the quote, “we’re all just walking each other home.” By being supportive to each other, we can create a more peaceful and kind environment for each other and ourselves. I also think it is important to be grateful for being apart of another person’s journey which is why I am so passionate about being a counselor. By incorporating the sense of gratitude everyday, I am able to maintain my positive mindset to be present and hold space for my clients. In the climate we are in, it is crucial to give compassion and support to others. It is also equally important to offer that to ourselves.
