About My Clients
Are you feeling lost in your identity or struggling with ADHD, anxiety, or depression? You’re not alone. We'll create a safe space to explore these feelings without judgment. I use holistic practices to foster self-awareness and mental flexibility, empowering you to understand yourself better. Let’s unlock your potential, improve your relationships, and tackle life’s questions. You deserve clarity, purpose, and joy on your journey.
My Background and Approach
At the heart of my approach is you, the client, and the belief in each person's capacity to heal and grow. We’ll work collaboratively to create engaging sessions where you feel empowered in your journey. I aim to establish a hopeful, safe, and challenging environment that encourages vulnerability, humor, connection, and growth. Each person comes to therapy with a unique history shaped by personal and collective experiences. Because of this, I believe therapy must be tailored to your individual needs and goals. I encourage openness and curiosity as we explore your pressing issues, relationships, and behavioral patterns. Each week will offer new insights as we delve into your past, understand its role in your present, and clarify your values. My practice is informed by Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with a strong emphasis on self-compassion and the insights of C.G. Jung and other psycho-spiritual thinkers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and grow, regardless of their past. My childhood on the shores of the Salish Sea instilled in me a deep empathy for others and a strong connection to nature. However, I also navigated the complexities of an avoidant attachment style and faced various challenges, including ADHD, depression, and family issues. Witnessing the struggles of loved ones with unaddressed mental health challenges deeply influenced my path to psychotherapy. I saw how these issues caused unnecessary pain and prevented them from living in alignment with their values. Through my work, I aim to promote self-compassion and provide the support needed for healing. Outside of therapy, I’m passionate about gardening, cooking for friends, and fostering lifelong learning through documentaries and books. If you're interested in exploring how I can support your journey, I’d love to hear from you!
