About My Clients
I work largely with people seeking to navigate complex topics around relationship and connection to others, individuals seeking to catalyze change in their lives, and people healing from grief and loss. I welcome parents seeking information, advocacy, and clinical assessment for school-aged children who may benefit from accommodations to support fair access to education. My practice is LGBTIAQ+, and Poly/ENM affirming and informed.
My Background and Approach
I draw strongly from Narrative Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) frameworks, helping my clients build capacity, confidence, and self-knowledge through the exploration and authoring of their own story. The space I strive to create in session is both safe and daring, balancing the need to recover and heal with the courage to honor the powerful choices that have brought you to where you are today, the grace to make mistakes, and the objective of helping you confidently take the next step in your process of healing and self-discovery.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist I bring 5+ years of professional experience as a clinician, and over 10 years working in social services to help guide you through your own journey of healing and recovery. I believe that recovery and growth can be best supported in an environment that addresses and honors both existential and practical/systemic issues. I believe that deep connection to self, place, and community are often central to growth and building resilience in our lives. I am a geek, a crafter, an outdoorsperson, a gardener, and a member of my community who has made it their life's work to give back and support the healing of others.
