About My Clients
My ideal clients are individuals who are facing the challenges of modern life, including demanding jobs, overwork, and even trauma. They're struggling with anxiety and depression as a result of these pressures, and they're seeking a therapist who can help them understand and manage their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and ultimately achieve improved mental health and wellbeing. They want to feel supported, validated, and empowered in their journey towards healing.
My Background and Approach
I am fortunate to have worked at a world-renown co-occurring treatment facility for the past several years, working with all genders, ethnicities, religions, and age groups. I have a Master of Arts in Addiction Studies: Advanced Practices, and hold both mental health and substance use licenses in Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that most of us can endure just about anything if we feel like there might be some light at the end of the tunnel and its only when we find ourselves, for whatever reason, unable to see or believe in the light that the hopelessness and despair set in......and that is a truly miserable place to be. I believe in empowerment, that we all already have onboard what is necessary for peace, for happiness, for self-actualization. I want to remind you of the gift that you are, imperfections and all, and that the feelings you are experiencing are ok to feel, that you and your resources are enough, and for you to be any other way would not allow the rest of us to self-actualize because....we all do better together.
