About My Clients
I work with adults who feel stuck in old patterns, often shaped by childhood trauma or emotionally immature parents. My clients are deep feelers, cycle-breakers, and meaning-seekers—people who want more than symptom relief. They’re ready to understand themselves more deeply, release shame, and build a more compassionate relationship with their past and present.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board-Certified Music Therapist with advanced training in trauma-informed approaches like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. I also integrate music, guided imagery, and body-based awareness into sessions when helpful. My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I believe in honoring all parts of you, especially the ones that had to adapt in painful environments. Therapy with me often includes gentle inner child work, nervous system education, and helping you develop a more trusting, supportive relationship with yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is not about becoming someone new—it’s about remembering who you were before the world told you to be small. I believe in the power of curiosity, compassion, and connection. As a Catholic Christian, I’m open to integrating faith into therapy if that’s important to you—but I also work with people from all walks of life, beliefs, and backgrounds. No matter what you bring into the space, I’ll meet you with warmth, presence, and respect for your lived experience.
