About My Clients
I work with children, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional stress. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a safe place to process life’s challenges, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. Together, we’ll build practical tools that promote healing, resilience, and lasting personal growth.
My Background and Approach
As a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student, I am passionate about helping individuals and families move from surviving to thriving. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, behavioral concerns, trauma, stress, and major life transitions. My counseling approach is primarily person-centered, meaning I believe every individual has the capacity for growth when provided with empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. I also integrate evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where you can safely explore your experiences, discover your strengths, and develop practical skills to create meaningful and lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. My faith has shaped my belief that every person’s story has value, and I strive to meet each client with compassion, respect, and authenticity while honoring their individual beliefs and values. Outside of counseling, I’m passionate about mental health advocacy, grief education, men’s mental health, community outreach, and helping people discover hope through life’s challenges. I enjoy creating conversations around emotional wellness through my podcast, The Evolving Healer, and believe that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. My mission is simple: to create a space where people feel safe enough to heal, grow, and become the healthiest version of themselves
