About My Clients
I work best with clients who feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, or unresolved trauma, and who are looking for therapy that goes deeper than quick fixes. Many of my clients are college students or young adults facing pressure, self-doubt, or relationship challenges. Others are adults processing grief, life transitions, or painful past experiences. If you’re feeling disconnected from yourself, caught in shame or self-criticism, or struggling to build the relationships you want, let's talk.
My Background and Approach
I am a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) and a Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP) in Michigan. My training includes extensive work with trauma, anxiety, and relational issues, as well as supervision and teaching roles in clinical settings. I combine relational, psychodynamic, and emotion-focused approaches with practical methods like CBT and exposure therapy. My goal is to help you uncover the emotional patterns that hold you back and replace them with new experiences of safety, connection, and freedom. Clients often find that therapy with me brings not just symptom relief, but also greater clarity, resilience, and a sense of dignity in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is most powerful when it honors both the resilience and the pain that shape us. I value authenticity, compassion, and collaboration, and I see therapy as a partnership where growth unfolds at your pace. I support social justice, LGBTQ+ affirmation, and the dignity of all people. Outside of therapy, I’m drawn to writing, music, and time outdoors with family and friends. These passions help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of creativity, connection, and balance in life.
