About My Clients

Are you ready to embrace yourself, express your truth, and effectively and confidently communicate your wants, needs, and feelings? Do you want to feel comfortable in your own skin and move past self-doubt? It is possible to be confident with your choices, move forward, and openly embrace yourself. Therapy can be a fulfilling, supportive process that can help us acknowledge and move past things that no longer serve our lives. I can help you honor your past and progress into the future

My Background and Approach

The goal of therapy is to help you learn self-evaluation and gain personal insight to make lasting changes in your life. When you come to me, be ready to work and understand that therapy is a process and not a magic pill to get “fixed.” After I meet with an individual or a couple, I assess the situation and design treatment that focuses on their specific experiences. Understanding theoretical concepts is not enough. Through our sessions, you will have the opportunity to see real change. We will address your challenges and goals on many levels, from developing self-awareness and deeper self-knowledge to understanding interpersonal skills. I aim to help people process their issues at the source while still providing care devoted to treating the whole person. I strive to help my clients find balance in the aspects of everyday life, including self-care, relationships, and daily responsibilities.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I try to be the therapist that I needed when I was going through tough times; the kind of therapist I would want to see. I understand the yearning to feel heard and more importantly to be seen as a person who is more than just their personal struggles. Being a 1st generation Asian-American therapist. I am familiar with the struggle of growing up with two different cultural barriers, challenges with identity and belongingness. Because of the stigma of mental illness within the Asian community, I understand how it can be difficult to reach out. Culture affects all aspects of our lives, influencing how we see ourselves and how we engage with others. I was fortunate to cross paths with mentors and connect with other healing professionals that believed in me and gave me hope and support.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following

  • Atheism
  • Christianity
