About My Clients
You have spent years navigating quiet wars at work with shifting alliances, unspoken rules, and bosses who hand you every fire to put out. Now that stress is showing up in your sleep, your patience, and your relationships. Therapy is a place to stop pretending you are fine and figure out how to work, lead, or leave without destroying your health or your future.
My Background and Approach
Executives and senior professionals do not come to therapy to vent or be given over-simplified advice. You need to work with someone who understands toxic workplaces, gendered expectations, and the loneliness of being the person at the top who has to manage all the risk. You need to work with someone who will not flinch when you let your guard down. I specialize in burnout recovery, workplace abuse therapy, and career transitions for senior professionals. My work addresses both the internal patterns and external structures that drive burnout at senior levels. Our work will examine what chronic overwork and organizational betrayal have done to your nervous system, your confidence, and your relationships. I will ask you questions that most people are too intimidated to ask and give you the honest feedback you crave, but most people are too intimidated to give. Together, we will map out concrete options and develop a new set of tools you can use to protect your health and your future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I don't believe burnout at senior levels is the result of weak coping skills. I believe it's actually a healthy response to unhealthy workplaces, gendered expectations, and years of making decisions that carry immense risk without meaningful protections or support. I am a mother of four, married to a C‑suite executive, and have worked in many dysfunctional organizations myself. I have sat in the car after work, wondering if I was the problem or if my work situation really was as unhealthy as it felt. Those experiences shape the way I practice. My style is not to offer quick fixes, pep talks, or simple advice. I believe your time is too valuable for that. Instead, I will help you examine the deeper, often invisible, layers of your relationship with your job and design changes that fit the realities of mortgages, tuition, and people who depend on your income.
