They are individuals and couples who have struggled with stress, conflict and unhappiness--perhaps for too long. Maybe they have tried to improve things on their own, yet have reached a point where they recognize that seeking help will lead them to a better place, more happiness and overall wellness.
My Background and Approach
I am a master's level clinician with a degree in clinical social work who is licensed in the State of California to practice independently as a psychotherapist. My professional experience spans over two decades. My process of working is one of empathic listening, being present, open, non-judgmental and warm; I approach each client with a deep regard for them as a person and a belief that they have the ability to create the healing and wholeness they seek.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a social worker I hold dear to my heart the concepts of social justice, self-determination, the inherent dignity of every individual and the power of relationships that connect us, heal and bring meaning to our lives.
