About My Clients
I provide individual psychotherapy for older adolescents (16+), adults, older adults, college students, professionals, and military-affiliated individuals. Issues I most commonly treat include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image issues, grief, PTSD, job-related stress, and relationship problems.
My Background and Approach
Therapy approach: My strength as a psychologist is to deeply attend to each client's emotions, thoughts, and life context. My clients and I work together to create a judgment-free and safe space. In my practice of therapy, I effectively balance exploratory and supportive therapy with the latest research and evidence-based interventions. Background: In addition to providing therapy in my private practice, I teach psychology as an adjunct professor at William James College. I also completed my fellowship at McLean Hospital and held a clinical appointment at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry. My APA-accredited internship was completed at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
