About My Clients
Telehealth is best suited for ages 6- adolescent age. I work with children with a variety of sensory, fine motor and developmental challenges. They can be related to fine motor, sensory or a combination of the two that result in daily living or school based challenges. Diagnoses of autism and ADHD are some of the most frequent conditions I see. I am excited to help your child meet his or her goals!
My Background and Approach
I have a Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Grand Valley State University (2007) and a Bachelor of Health degree in Exercise Science (2004) from Miami University. I have worked in several school districts throughout Ohio in the past 15 years through an Educational Service Center. I have supervised several doctoral students and maintained a full caseload of students while parenting my own 2 children at home. I realize the benefit for virtual sessions and worked throughout the pandemic, reaching students this way. While technology has become the norm, I provide a specialized fine motor program, called Korro AI, to help kids meet their fine motor goals through innovative technology on any phone. Consultation and direct sessions are also encouraged. Services can be tailored to YOUR needs!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Although some children may be labeled with a disability, I believe they all have true abilities that must be shown and strengthened. Let's work with strengths as well as there is no limit for human potential!
