About My Clients
Do you find that stress can be difficult to manage and lead to feelings of overwhelm, shutting down and avoiding? Does it intrude on your ability to relax or enjoy yourself, and include overthinking or physical discomfort? These sensations, often caused by anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting/relationship stress, or grief can be scary and change how we interact with our world. The good news, is there are ways to take your life back, and I can help you learn ways to do that.
My Background and Approach
I believe that I have an affinity and skillset for supporting people who are facing challenges due to anxiety, depression, ADHD and the stress of life transitions, including providing parenting support and communication skill building, to improve connection in relationships. My purpose is helping people to understand themselves better, to teach resiliency skills and to help people build hope and trust in themselves; to believe that they can create the change they need in their lives. I offer a direct, educational, solution-focused approach and have focused my practice on learning and using best practice strategies that you can incorporate into your life to help you create lasting change for yourself. The techniques we use will help you to understand how stress impacts your brain and body, how your thinking impacts mood and behavior and allow you to intervene and heal those processes, putting you back in control of your life.
