About My Clients
Do you find yourself having difficulties with managing stress that comes from work, life, and/or relationships? The past year may have been emotionally draining for you--with navigating COVID anxiety and/or social unrest. Maybe you are struggling with managing these difficult emotions, and are realizing that you are ready to make your healing journey a priority. I help high-achieving women of color who struggle with anxiety find clarity and reclaim their self-worth.
My Background and Approach
My approach is culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, person-centered, warm, and compassionate. I use interventions that are appropriate to your situation, and I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where you can be seen and heard. I was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Education. I earned my Master of Social Work from San Francisco State University with a concentration in Individuals, Families, and Groups. My family immigrated to the U.S. from the Philippines when I was 3 years old. My interest in the mental health field stems from my own immigration experiences and bicultural identity.
