About My Clients
✦ My clients enjoy trying to making sense of their lives through a conversational exploration style that is far from cold or clinical. I am simply here to create a truly safe space for you to explore your thoughts unapologetically, to help you process experiences, and begin to enjoy life again. ✦ I am known for helping uncover the roots of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and for asking the hard questions to help you break free from deep-seated patterns that are no longer serving you.
My Background and Approach
✦ I am a therapist & life coach with over 13 years of experience in Psychology. I have a BA in Psychology from UC Davis & an MA in Marriage & Family Therapy from Northcentral University. ✦ My clinical expertise is far-reaching, including: college students, Veterans, couples & families as well as extensive experience with neurodivergent children, families, & couples. ✦ I use evidence-based approaches that help you identify patterns, manage emotions, and build practical skills for real-life change. My work is grounded in helping you identify what’s getting in the way, strengthen what’s already working, and create solutions that fit your life. By blending tools from cognitive and behavioral therapies, attachment-focused work, and strengths-based approaches, I’m able to support a wide range of people and concerns. ✦ I also provide ADHD and ASD (autism) assessments.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
✦ I believe people are capable of incredible growth when they feel supported, seen, and understood. As a therapist, I’ve witnessed clients lighten the weight of depression, master emotional regulation, and find their voice. I’ve watched couples learn to communicate with compassion, strengthen their boundaries, and rediscover connection and hope. I don’t take credit for their transformation, however, my role is simply to walk beside them, to offer and teach new tools for success, reflect incongruencies and new possibilities, and help them uncover strengths they already carry. ✦ I've had the privilege of walking beside our neurodivergent, our Dreamers and DACA recipients, Veterans, the anxious and depressed, college students finding their way, single parents just doing their best, siblings learning to reconnect, and couples just trying to make it to Friday. And every day, I am inspired by the resilience, courage, and change that unfolds when people feel safe enough to heal.
