About My Clients

In the face of serious medical illness, our most fundamental assumptions about health, security, and control are challenged in an instant. Ideas about what the future holds are suddenly called into question, forcing a reprioritization of everything. Your life—once familiar and routine becomes unrecognizable through the lens of uncertainty. Over time, you come to realize that friends and family, despite their best intentions, cannot begin to comprehend the magnitude of your experience.

My Background and Approach

If you or a loved one is feeling lost in the midst of all of this, wondering what life is supposed to look like now, know that you do not have to work through this alone. Serious illness can impact you in ways that you may not fully anticipate, making this deeply personal journey difficult to understand unless you have been through it. Having survived ovarian cancer—along with providing support to my spouse as he navigated his own cancer diagnosis—gives me extensive insight into the constellation of emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial challenges that often accompanies life-threatening illness.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My own experience with cancer and caregiving allows me to offer others a depth of connection and empathy that comes from walking a similar path. With understanding and sensitivity, I will be a guide through every part of the process, from the day of diagnosis all the way through the end of treatment and whatever comes next.
