About My Clients
My clients are often older adults or caregivers seeking a safe, understanding space to talk about the changes they are experiencing—whether those changes are physical, emotional, or social. Many are coping with medical diagnoses, chronic pain, loss of independence, or feelings of isolation. Some feel overwhelmed, hopeless, or unsure of how to reconnect with themselves and others.
My Background and Approach
With a strong foundation in behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy, interpersonal therapy, talk therapy, and supportive counseling, I tailor treatment to each person’s needs and goals. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and rooted in the belief that every client has unique strengths that can be built upon.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a compassionate partnership where clients feel safe to share their story without fear of judgment. I value honesty, empathy, and respect in every session, and I view each client as the expert on their own life. My role is to offer tools, insight, and encouragement while honoring each person’s experiences and values. I also believe that emotional well-being is deeply connected to physical health, relationships, and community. By working together, we can create a path forward that supports not only symptom relief but also a richer, more fulfilling quality of life.
