About My Clients

As you start on the path to motherhood are you feeling anxious, sad, perhaps shame or just not yourself? It can be frustrating, draining, and at times heartbreaking. This is likely not how you thought it would be. Society tells us that becoming a mother will be a natural, seamless process filled with joyous moments. It's often not the reality. I recognize and acknowledge that this can be a difficult time, and I am here to support you regardless of where you are in this journey.

My Background and Approach

I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 20 years and am certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. I have experience both as a medical social worker in hospitals, specifically in high risk maternity, postpartum and the NICU, and providing counseling in private practice. In my private practice I have the opportunity to focus specifically on helping women adjust to and meet the challenges associated with becoming a mother. This is an area that has always been of profound interest to me. It can be a particularly vulnerable time in a woman’s life, and it’s my honor to support you through this process. My goal is to provide a safe space, explore coping tools and offer strength-based solutions that can help restore your emotional well-being.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a current member of Postpartum Support International and American Society for Reproductive Medicine. I also volunteer for Resolve, The National Infertility Association and their helpline.
