About My Clients
I bring compassion and strong clinical skills to therapy for my clients and I rally for them as they find ways to improve their lives. Clients who want to feel better, manage life with more confidence, clients who are desiring healing and peace will find me to be a good partner for them in their path to health and wellness.
My Background and Approach
I have 25 years experience in the field and bring not only strong clinical skills, but also the understanding of how much courage it takes to be navigating healing as a client. I fully believe in the power of therapy, both as a clinician helping many clients in learning ways to have more full and peaceful lives, but also as a client doing my own therapeutic work. I use stories and examples to help my clients understand that they are not alone and that healing is completely possible. I specialize in trauma and the pain that comes with difficult circumstances. Situations can make life feel stuck, impossible, depressing, and yet, I know that it is possible to find ways to handle life's challenges in a manner that make us all feel more capable. Clients find that I am able to support them by offering new ways to handle these challenges, whether it is in regards to marriage, family, work, or past traumas.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I absolutely believe in my clients and the work they are doing. I believe all of us can make changes that help us feel happier, more alive, and more at peace. I am a Christian and if this appeals to my clients, I include this in the work. If not, then I don't. I meet my clients where they are at and help them identify what they want to work on and how they want their life to improve.
