About My Clients
I work best with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, distracted, or simply not quite like themselves. You may be struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood changes, difficulty concentrating, low motivation, or managing the stress of everyday life. Maybe you’ve been trying to handle everything on your own and have finally decided it’s time for some support.
My Background and Approach
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 12 years of healthcare experience and more than 4 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. My background includes inpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, outpatient mental health, addiction care, and correctional mental health. This diverse experience has prepared me to work with individuals experiencing everything from everyday anxiety and difficulty concentrating to more complex mental health concerns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, respectful, and judgment-free mental health care. I value meeting people where they are and creating a space where clients from all backgrounds can feel comfortable being themselves. I understand that life can be complicated, and sometimes people simply need someone who will listen without judgment and help them figure out what comes next. I’m passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and helping people feel comfortable asking for support. I believe your diagnosis does not define who you are, and treatment should never feel one-size-fits-all. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in your mental health care.
