About My Clients

Many of the people I work with have long been the dependable one — the steady, capable person others rely on. Over time, that strength can start to feel heavy. It can be hard to slow down, ask for help, or even recognize your own needs when so much of your energy has gone toward holding things together. Therapy offers a place to pause and tend to what’s been overlooked — to restore a sense of ease, connection, and emotional freedom.

My Background and Approach

I work extensively with individuals and families navigating the grief, uncertainty, and emotional toll that accompany serious or chronic illness — including the quieter, ongoing losses that arise in the midst of caring, coping, or hoping for change. I also specialize in working with adults who hold themselves to high standards — often caregivers, healthcare professionals, and helpers. These patterns are rarely accidental; they often grow from early relational experiences that once made sense, yet now contribute to exhaustion, self-doubt, or the feeling of never quite being “enough.”

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am deeply committed to supporting individuals whose identities or lived experiences have been marginalized or overlooked — including, but not limited to, those within the queer community. Grief and loss often intersect with these identities in complex ways, sometimes intensifying old wounds of not belonging, abandonment, or having to carry pain alone. In our work together, there is room for all of these layers: the current grief, the historical echoes it awakens, and the profound resilience that has helped you endure. My hope is to offer a space where every part of you feels seen, affirmed, and held with care.
