Living with chronic pain or illness can feel exhausting and isolating. It often affects mood, sleep, and relationships, leading to depression or anxiety. I offer online therapy to help adults manage the emotional impact of chronic pain and health challenges, reduce stress, and reconnect with meaning and hope. You don’t have to face it alone—support and understanding are possible.

I was trained in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy at the University of Tennessee, where I earned my master’s degree in 2007. This approach focuses on strengths, resilience, and practical solutions rather than problems. In therapy, I help clients identify what’s working, set clear goals, and take small, meaningful steps toward lasting change and personal growth.

I received training in Motivational Interviewing in 2010 and completed a refresher at Yale School of Nursing in 2024. This collaborative, compassionate approach helps clients explore ambivalence and strengthen motivation for change. I use MI to support personal growth, health goals, and lasting behavior change through empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s autonomy.

I earned a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Boston University in 2013. CBT helps clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. In therapy, I work collaboratively to identify unhelpful patterns, build coping skills, and create realistic, balanced ways of thinking that support emotional well-being and lasting positive change.
