About My Clients

There’s nothing you can’t accomplish if you put your mind to it. So why aren’t you actually proud of your accomplishments? You are realizing that your happiness doesn’t come from achievement, but you don’t know where it comes from. The years or decades of caretaking, shapeshifting and being a superhero has taken its toll – showing up as a veritable pantheon of mental health symptoms, from anxiety to depression to behavioral challenges. Take a breath – I can help you with all of it.

My Background and Approach

I am a Colorado LPC with a master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University, 6 years of counseling experience and 12 years of corporate experience in technology. My personal healing journey has taken me through medication, psychotherapy, meditation, paganism, shamanism, energy work and breathwork. I have worked with life transitions, careers, stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, trauma, childhood attachment wounding, eating disorders, mood disorders, spiritual crises and more. I have found that women who caretake often shapeshift and twist into distorted version of themselves to fit into expected social roles, no matter how outdated or unflattering those roles are. If you twist long enough, it’s difficult to remember your original shape. Being out of touch with who you are arises as a unique blend of psychological symptoms unique to your psyche. I help women untwist, and heal the part of them that thinks they need to shapeshift in order to be good enough.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that it’s impossible to be happy and healthy if we’re striving to belong to a sick society. My work revolves heavily around career choices, because, as adults, our workplaces are the primary place we get connection, and also indoctrination into unworthiness. We trade our precious time and lifeforce for money, to fuel the capitalist machine. We twist our logic, minds and hearts to somehow make that okay – when we really know that it isn’t. When we can no longer hold the dissonance, our employers tell us to go to therapy to fix ourselves, so they we may return to the fold as good little workers, consumers and capitalists. We can’t keep putting bandaids on indignities and going back to have the same wounds inflicted yet again. That’s how our life force dies out. I help women rediscover their hearts and souls, so they may find their own better way through this complex machine that is life.
