My therapeutic approach is rooted in a collaborative, trauma informed approach and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, strengths based, and supportive counseling.

In sessions, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you develop a more open and compassionate relationship with your thoughts and feelings. Rather than trying to eliminate discomfort, we work on noticing and accepting internal experiences while clarifying your values. Together, we focus on building flexibility and taking meaningful, values-based actions that support the life you want to live.
In sessions, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify patterns between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore unhelpful thinking patterns, gently challenge them, and practice more balanced ways of responding. I also incorporate practical tools and exercises you can use between sessions, so therapy feels active, collaborative, and applicable to everyday life.
