About My Clients
I strive to create a therapeutic space that is thoughtful, nonjudgmental, and attuned to complexity—one in which you can bring the fullness of your experience without needing to minimize, justify, or translate who you are. Specialized, affirming support includes work with: Queer clients Trans clients Clients practicing ethical non-monogamy Kinky clients Sex workers
My Background and Approach
My therapy style is Non-pathologizing I do not view you as a problem to be fixed. I work from the belief that many symptoms make sense in context. Curious and direct I bring care, honesty, and thoughtful reflection into the room. Therapy can hold both gentleness and challenge. Trauma-informed I recognize the many ways trauma can shape the nervous system, relationships, identity, and sense of safety. Context-aware I consider the impact of family systems, culture, oppression, and structural conditions on emotional wellbeing. Relational and creative I value authenticity, insight, and flexibility in the therapeutic process. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is rooted in a critical, anti-capitalist, and decolonizing lens toward mental health. That means I pay attention to how systems of oppression—including capitalism, colonialism, racism, and other forms of structural harm—shape emotional life. Rather than locating problems solely within the individual, I work with clients to understand their experiences in context, honor the ways they have survived, and challenge narratives that pathologize adaptation.
