About My Clients
My clients are teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, identity development, emotional regulation, family conflict, and behavioral challenges. Many are learning to make sense of big internal changes, and with supportive language about brain and body development, they can respond with greater self-compassion. I’m especially honored to work with first-generation youth, LGBTQIA+ teens, and BIPOC clients in a space where all identities are welcomed and respected.
My Background and Approach
My clinical background includes experience with depression and mood disorders, anxiety, neurodivergence (including ADHD and spectrum-related experiences), school and academic pressure, attendance-related concerns, and identity development. I also work with teens and young adults managing behavioral or conduct-related issues, emotional dysregulation, and family conflict. I have a deep respect for the complexity of adolescent development, and I work to integrate education around brain and body changes so that teens can better understand what’s happening internally. When clients have the language and framework to make sense of their experiences, they often feel more empowered to respond with compassion and intention rather than frustration or shame.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be affirming, inclusive, and grounded in dignity, safety, and respect. I stand in support of LGBTQIA+ communities, Black Lives Matter, Stop Asian Hate, immigrant communities, and the right to bodily autonomy and reproductive justice. I believe that identity, culture, and lived experience deeply shape how people move through the world—and therapy must honor those realities. I am committed to disability and neurodiversity affirmation, trauma-informed practice, and supporting first-generation and multicultural families. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe bringing their full selves, especially parts that may have been marginalized, misunderstood, or silenced. Healing happens best when people feel seen, believed, and respected.
