I primarily use an approach called EFT, a clinically-proven therapy for couples that can help improve your communication and connection profoundly. This method allows you to have new conversations and see yourselves and your relationship in a new light. Couples I work with find this helps them resolve current issues while also helping them recognize and prevent challenges before they start. It allows them to have a better understanding of what is really going on, rather than have to guess.

Burnout or compassion fatigue, is an experience you may have in a helping role, either in your professional or personal life, or under constant stress. Some signs may be: Feeling hopeless, detached, burdened Difficulty concentrating Low ability to empathize Withdrawing from activities you love Irritability, frustration Know that it’s okay to ask for help. We can work together to help you find out what needs to change and how you can be nourished and show up in your life the way you want to.

I have taken several intensive trainings in ACT and participate in a consultation group focused on developing our skills in this model.

I am passionate about couples and family counseling and have sought out trainings in this area throughout my career. I have training in EFT, Gottman and systems work

Since finding EFT I have become committed to growing in this model. I have taken the four day externship, am currently in core skills and participate in both supervision and consultation.
