About My Clients
I work best with individuals who are ready to engage in the healing process, even if they’re unsure of where to begin. My ideal clients may be survivors of trauma—including domestic violence, childhood abuse, or neglect—or those experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or life transitions. Whether you're seeking therapy for the first time or returning to continue your journey, I strive to create a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental space where meaningful change can happen.
My Background and Approach
With over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of working with clients across the lifespan—from age 4 to 84—addressing a wide range of concerns in diverse clinical settings such as anxiety, depression, adoption, foster care, as well as boundary and communication issues. My career began in a domestic violence shelter in Florida, where I discovered a deep passion for supporting survivors of abuse, a commitment that continues to guide my work today. I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and also provide consultation as a CIT (Consultant-in-Training) for professionals seeking to deepen their EMDR practice. I also enjoy providing clinical supervision to residents emerging in the field. My therapeutic approach is grounded in empowering clients to gain a deeper understanding of their emotions, break free from negative thought patterns, and build a foundation for lasting mental well-being.
