My personal experiences and professional knowledge allows for a unique and valuable approach within the therapeutic relationship. I am deeply grounded in strengths-based work and believe people are the experts of their own experiences. Informed by relational-cultural, somatic, psychodynamic and attachment-based theories, I believe in the importance of building a strong therapeutic connection. I practice with an intersectional lens and seek to understand my clients within the context of their identities and histories, including family-of-origin experiences and intergenerational trauma. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, meaning I believe in empowering clients to take an active role in their therapeutic process.
