About My Clients
A warm, collaborative space for BIPOC & Asian American adults navigating identity, belonging, life transitions, anxiety, burnout & relationships.
My Background and Approach
My work is grounded in a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive approach. I believe therapy is not about being an expert on your life, but creating a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and explore what matters to you. I’m especially drawn to working with BIPOC and Asian American adults navigating identity and belonging, life transitions, anxiety, burnout, relationships, and family or cultural expectations. I’m interested in the ways our experiences are shaped not only by our individual stories, but also by culture, family, community, and the systems around us. I believe healing can happen through more than words. When helpful, we may draw on the wisdom of the body, movement, storytelling, creativity, relationships, and connection to culture and community. We’ll work together to find what feels supportive and meaningful for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are shaped by our relationships, families, cultures, communities, and the environments we move through—not just by what happens within us. I believe there is wisdom in understanding where we come from and making space for the parts of ourselves that may not always feel welcomed or understood. I believe healing doesn't always look like fixing or changing ourselves. Sometimes it means slowing down, listening more deeply, reconnecting with ourselves and others, and finding ways of living that feel more aligned with who we are. I value curiosity over judgment and believe you are the expert on your own experience. I also believe therapy can make room for complexity: we can honor our histories and cultures while questioning expectations, patterns, and beliefs that no longer serve us. My hope is to create a space where you don't have to perform, have everything figured out, or become someone else to be worthy of care.
