About My Clients
My practice is a welcoming, affirming space where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. Here I focus on helping cis-gendered women as well as gender-diverse people in the LGBTQIA+ community ages 14+. I work with a wide range of concerns and life experiences, such as self-esteem, self-worth, parenting, communication, faith crises and transitions, self-acceptance, coming out, navigating faith crises and transitions, self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
My Background and Approach
I practice therapeutic techniques blending cognitive-behavioral theory, mindfulness, EMDR, person-centered, DBT, and many others to help you gain insight and return to authentic living. No matter the struggle, big, small, or insurmountable, you will find acceptance and help here! My purpose is driven by the principles of love, kindness, and acceptance. I pride myself in providing unconditional acceptance, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for expressing one’s thoughts, feelings, and struggles.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I bring my personal authenticity into each session to encourage you in finding and expressing your authenticity! I am loaded with Southern sass but I will definetly let you know you cared for and accepted as you are, and it is important to me you feel this in our sessions. I like to create an atmosphere like you are talking with a friend. Kind, loving, and honest without the stuffiness of therapy (I don't even care if you swear). And because I do telehealth, you don't even need shoes or to put your fancy pants on! I have 12+ years of therapy experience and 30+ years experience of doing my own therapy work. Some fun facts about me: I HATE peas and beets with a passion, I LOVE (deeply and truly) The Price is Right, fierce advocate for love, kindness, and respect, I am an amateur photographer, and I enjoy PC Gaming.
