About My Clients
While attending graduate school, my focuses were the LGBT community, Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, and Substance Use Disorders. It is my wish to assist those struggling with mental health and substance use issues by providing an experienced, caring atmosphere to grow and heal.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NC and VA), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (NC) and Certified Clinical Supervisor (NC). I offer a wide range of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing to assist individuals throughout the therapeutic process.
