About My Clients
I see individuals ages 13+ years with a variety of presenting concerns; however, my specialty is in working with anxiety and panic disorders. In particular, I have experience helping those with trichotillomania (hair-pulling), OCD, social anxiety, and excoriation disorder (skin picking).
My Background and Approach
I love working with people who are looking to make positive changes in their lives. My goal is to partner with my clients and support them along their journeys. I use a variety of therapy styles and would consider myself directive, reflective, and strengths-focused. I help people learn new coping skills and challenge themselves so that they can see real change in their lives. I have specialized experience helping those with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety, and phobias. My favorite treatment methods to use with clients include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT-informed therapy, Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC). Above all, I strive to use all of the clinical skills I have to best meet my clients’ unique needs.
