Clinical Social Worker in Beachwood, OH

About My Clients

Do you feel stuck in painful patterns, disconnected from yourself, or exhausted from holding everything together on your own? I work with adults navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, relationship struggles, identity and sexual orientation concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients have spent years surviving behind masks or armor that once protected them but no longer serve who they want to become. I look forward to helping you reconnect with yourself more authentically.

My Background and Approach

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with a concentration in Behavioral Health and received advanced training in substance use treatment through an interprofessional fellowship at the Seattle VA Medical Center. I have experience working in outpatient and inpatient mental health settings with veterans, LGBTQ+ clients, and others who have felt marginalized or unseen. My approach is warm, relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Nature-Informed Therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-based perspectives.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people heal when they feel safe enough to be fully seen without fear of judgment, rejection, or abandonment. As an active member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand how the current political and social climate can feel frightening, exhausting, and deeply personal for many people. I value authenticity, compassion, and meaningful human connection, and I strive to create an affirming and inclusive space for clients of diverse identities and experiences. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature, being around dogs, and listening to music, especially Stevie Nicks, whose lyric, “Can I handle the seasons of my life?” continues to resonate with me as a reminder of growth, resilience, and the challenges that often accompany real change.
