About My Clients
In my work with clients, I frequently encounter a version of "I thought I was doing ALL THE THINGS to be happy and yet, something still feels off." That something can manifest as anxiety, stress, depression, your relationship, or questioning EVERYTHING. My clients are the best. Usually, they are high-functioning professionals (think lawyers, physicians, leaders, engineers, scientists) and look completely fine on the outside, yet - suffer in silence.
My Background and Approach
When meeting with a person (or couple), I always have two guiding questions in my mind: "What is happening?" and "What do we do about it?" Meaning, I want to get clarity - and for my client(s) to understand - how exactly they are getting stuck. Once that is figured out, the "what to do about it" becomes that much clearer. I'm just going to come right out with it: I'm a nerd when it comes to psychology, and absolutely love to learn. Over the course of my career, I've read countless books, and have taken numerous certifications and trainings that ultimately assist me in best serving my clients. I like to treat that knowledge as my Rolodex that I pull from as needed. Every client and couple is different, so you won't be taken through a manual or list of worksheets (unless you like that sort of thing). Instead, I will meet you where you are at, and pull from my experience and education as necessary to get you where you want to go!
