About My Clients
My clients are often facing life transitions, wrestling with anxiety or past trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many are children or teens working through school stress, loss, or identity concerns. Others are adults adjusting to changes like empty nesting, fostering or adopting, marriage, or divorce. Some seek support for spiritual hurt or want to integrate their faith into counseling. My clients are courageous, resilient, and ready to grow — even if they’re not sure
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a counselor, I spent years supporting families through ministry and education, including work as a school counselor and children’s minister. I now bring that same warmth and experience to the therapy room. My approach is relational and grounded in evidence-based practices, including EMDR for trauma work and Internal Family Systems (IFS) for deeper self-understanding. I believe healing happens in safe relationships — where all parts of a person are welcome.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I hold an active Christian faith and am open to discussing spiritual questions or church hurt for clients who desire that integration. Whether or not faith is part of your story, you’ll find a space with me that is respectful, inclusive, and grounded in curiosity. I believe that every person has the capacity for healing, and my role is to help clients access their own inner wisdom, resilience, and worth.
