About My Clients
My clients are adults navigating identity, sexuality, gender, relationships, trauma, intimacy, life transitions, and perinatal experiences. I work with LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse clients, people exploring their sexuality or identity, and those seeking support around desire, sexual concerns, body image, or pleasure. I welcome consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, kink, and diverse relationship structures. You don’t have to have everything figured out—we can start wherever you are.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Sexual Health Alliance Certified Sex Therapist with a decade of experience. I’m a member of WPATH and USPATH and provide gender-affirming care, including assessments and recommendation letters for HRT and gender-affirming surgeries when clinically appropriate. I specialize in sex therapy, helping clients explore desire, intimacy, pleasure, sexual concerns, identity, body image, and sexuality without shame. I also support diverse relationship and sexual expressions, including consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, and kink. As a DONA International Certified Birth Doula with expertise in perinatal mental health, I support clients through pregnancy, postpartum, loss, infertility, and reproductive transitions. As an Alabama-certified clinical social work supervisor and former social work educator, I stay connected to emerging research and best practices to bring fresh, informed perspectives into therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people deserve the freedom to live authentically in their bodies, relationships, identities, and families without shame or judgment. I’m passionate about LGBTQ+ inclusion, gender-affirming care, sexual wellness, reproductive autonomy, and improving access to compassionate mental health care—especially in communities where affirming providers can be difficult to find. My work as a therapist, educator, clinical supervisor, and DONA International Certified Birth Doula keeps me connected to people across many different experiences and professional communities. I value curiosity, lifelong learning, social justice, bodily autonomy, and the belief that healing can include both safety and pleasure. I’m especially passionate about creating spaces where people who have felt misunderstood or marginalized can finally exhale, be heard, and explore who they are without having to defend their existence.
