About My Clients
Are there times when you feel there is no one to turn to, when life is just overwhelming, you have exhausted your coping skills, and looking for guidance? I believe each person has the ability to grow and heal when given the right space and support. My hope is that through the therapeutic relationship, clients are able to explore their unique selves, become vulnerable, and learn tools necessary to help them cope with their everyday struggles.
My Background and Approach
My hope is that through the therapeutic relationship, clients are able to explore their unique selves, become vulnerable, and learn tools necessary to help them cope with their everyday struggles. I work with children and adolescents, adults and the elderly. I have 17 years experience working with children and adolescents in residential care, and 6 years of experience working in an outpatient setting. I see clients who are experiencing mood disturbance, anxiety, life transitions, trauma and loss, and general ongoing challenges. My approach is strength based with experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma informed care. I will work with you to set goals, gain insight into your challenges and overcome your obstacles by developing new skills and gaining new perspectives.
