About My Clients
My clients often struggle with feelings of not knowing where they fit in the world or how to express their authentic selves. Anxiety may be taking over happy moments. Painful or scary experiences may be impacting current relationships, job functioning, or daily living/mood. Many of my clients are survivors of childhood trauma, sexual assault, or domestic/intimate partner violence.
My Background and Approach
I work from a client-centered, attachment-focused framework to heal developmental trauma. I have background in a number of evidence-based practices and utilize an integrative approach to meet my clients' unique needs. I am also a registered yoga teacher with training to incorporate that into mental health practice. My approach is gentle, strength-based and trauma applied. I love working with neurodivergent clients and am LGBTQIA+ affirming. As a white therapist, I work to make sure I am being inclusive, affirming, and continuing to learn how to address systematic racism and oppression. Many of my clients have also been adopted or been in foster care.
